Volition K9 wants to ensure that families have access to these services and is very aware of peoples financial limitations. Due to this VK9 is willing to work with clients to find a fair price for both parties.
Dog Walking and Pet Sitting
Reliable and Trusted Pet Care
I do offer dog walking, drop ins, and in-home sitting. Offer is limited to certain locations, dogs needs and behaviors. Available to current clients and the public. Please email sumner@volitionk9.com for more information. ​

Cost of House Sitting: Base rate of $100/night for 1 pet (additional cost for more pets, special needs, and/or location).
Cost of Dog Walks: Base rate of $50 for a 1 hour walk or in-home/yard enrichment time. If bought in a package of 3 or more, rate drops to $35 a walk.
Behavior Consultation
Deep dive into your dogs behaviors and history
At the consultation, which is either conducted in person or remotely, we will discuss your dogs history, the current challenges you're navigating, and what you hope to achieve. The goal of this service is to also provide you with information on why your dog may be behaving the way they are, management you can begin implementing ASAP, a training plan and what services Volition K9 can provide. A personalized behavior report and initial steps on what you can do next will be created and then emailed to you within two weeks after the consultation. This document are always able to be edited or revised if needed and can be provided to your veterinarian. These sessions are generally between 60 or 90 minutes long depending on the behaviors your dog is presenting with.

Current Rate: $150 for a 60 to 90 minute consultation
Includes personalized behavior report, training plan, and an initial document going over foundation skills/behaviors

Private Coaching
1x1 weekly support for you and your dog
Either as a standalone for more general behavior concerns like wanting to improve recall or develop appropriate leash skills. OR as a training package following a behavior consultation or the reactive crash course. Private coaching allows us to work closely with you and your dog as you work towards your behavior goals.

Package of 4 or more: $100 for an hour

When bought in a package, unlimited email support is provided. As well as the opportunity to schedule remote check-ins.
All options include follow-up handouts on management, skills, and resources.
Day Training and Walk-and-trains
Private training without you
When a training plan is established after an initial behavior consult or meeting, day training may be an available option for your pet. This is when training can be done without you being present. The training will come to your home and work through a training session to progress through behaviors and practice reinforcing them. This can also be done while taking your dog on a walk, focusing on leash manners, socialization or reactivity. These services are heavily dependent on your dogs training plan, needs and experience leve. Typically a dog whose primary focus is reactivity or basic manners is the ideal candidate. This service will require more sessions than private coaching due to more limited opportunities to practice within the home. ​

Package of 4 or more: $75 for an hour
Recommended at least 2 sessions a week.

Nail trims, crate training, and muzzle training
Specialized services
I offer nail trims, crate training and muzzle training as a separate service. These services heavily depends on your pets behavior, comfort level and level of experience. Due to those factors the frequency of visits can heavily vary. Please email sumner@volitionk9.com for more information. ​
